Providing a constant, updated and accurate source of credit information to the credit fraternity in particular and the business environment in general. Ensuring that the members and affiliates of the Institute maintain a high standard of ethics in the making of credit decisions and the sharing of credit related information. Establishing the basis for a sound economic credit function within all business in the country. Creating study opportunities for all persons involved in credit and to enhance the professional standards of all those who subscribe to the mission statement. Keeping a watchful eye on the syllabi and curricula of all Institutions of Learning who present educational qualifications in Credit Management. Guiding students in their studies, by constantly being in contact with students through their Institutions of Learning. Offering advice and guidance to the various Legislators, at both Provincial and Central Government Levels, on all matters relating to credit. Ensuring the ongoing training of all personnel, directly and indirectly, involved in all disciplines of credit management.
